Rowdy is helping to move some branches

Rowdy, is a hyacinth macaw.  These parrots are native to central and eastern South America. With a length of about 3 feet it is longer than any other species of parrot. It is the largest macaw and the largest flying parrot.  They can live up to 50 years in the wild and up to 60 in captivity.  Rowdy loves to have people stop by his enclosure.  He loves to dance and bounce, and when you say “Big Bird” and put your arms out, he will copy you and put his wings up.
